The cylinder coding is defined by selecting • the series • the bore size • the piston rod diameter • the stroke length and then choosing • the mounting type from the dimension chart. Cushioning options are marked as • CB for both ends • CC for the cap end • CH for the head end • NC for no cushioning, while optional identifiers include • K for double-rod design • V for high-temperature seals. For example, an RF Mounting cylinder with a 125 mm bore, 90 mm rod, 150 mm stroke, MF3 mounting, and cushioning at both ends is coded as RF Mounting 125 90 150 MF3 CB
